Bartolomeu Campos de Queirós was born in Minas Gerais, in 1944. He is Graduated in Philosophy - Federal University of Minas Gerais , Brazil; specialized in Art/Education - institut Pedagogique National de Paris,France and Teacher's Specializing Division, Ministry of Education and Culture - MEC - Brazil.
Writer and educator , he has around 50 books for children and young people. Besides writing books for children and young people, he has some essays articles and texts published about reading, literature, philosophy, arts and theater to adult. Many of his literary books of the Brazilian awarded and selected to important programs of the Brazilian Government. Some of his books were translated and awarded abroad.
